Sidekick is an AI assistant in the Shopify admin that works with the store's own context1. It answers questions, analyzes data, manages orders, edits products, creates content such as product descriptions and images, and can generate custom apps1. It can save repeated prompts as skills and keep working on longer tasks in the background1. Shopify's help center says it cannot make changes to the store without the merchant's approval3.
